Is Subconscious Mind Power really Natural?

If you’ve ever seen the old movie, ‘Field of Dreams,’ you might remember the saying, ‘If you build it, they will come.’ You have your own field of dreams, and that is your subconscious mind. In this case, ‘If you think it, it will come.’

You have the power to create the life you want, to change who you are, to change whatever you think is missing or inadequate into something perfect, all through the use of your subconscious mind. It’s truly a powerful and beautiful thing, and can heal, transcend current circumstances, make you feel good; or make you feel bad. This subconscious mind power, truly has the power to completely change our world if we take control of it.

I apologize if you haven’t seen this movie before, but trust me, I didn’t really give that much away. It’s a great feel good story and one that can teach us a valuable lesson about subconscious mind power. If you truly believe in what it tells you, then it will happen. However, you must train it to change your life for the better, not for worse.

Most studies have shown at least some of what is called the ‘placebo effect.’ That is, at least some of the people in the placebo group have shown ‘effects’ from the ‘drug,’ even though they’ve actually gotten a placebo. That is, their subconscious minds decided that they had gotten the drug and produced some of the same benefits and side effects as they were told the actual medication would give them. Simply, these patients believed they had gotten the medication, so their subconscious minds produced the medication’s effects to at least some degree.

Or, let’s take another example. Perhaps you’ve gone to the doctor to get a medication for something that’s wrong with you. You may have noticed that although a doctor will tell you what the side effects are, he or she will usually minimize them to at least some extent. That’s because it’s been shown that patients will often exaggerate the side effects in their own minds (or become the small percentage that actually experiences severe side effects), and actually begin to experience those side effects as a sort of ‘negative self-fulfilling prophecy.’ Doctors don’t want that to happen, so although they are beholden by law to tell you what side effects are, they don’t exaggerate them specifically because they don’t want patients to create side effects.

It really is unfortunate that we didn’t figure this out sooner. If everyone knew how to take advantage of the power inside their subconscious mind, you would have seen history rewritten. Would JFK or Abraham Lincoln been assassinated? Would the U.S. actually go to war in Vietnam? Would scientists been able to cure diseases much quicker? We could go on and on, but if the individuals related to those topics utilized the hidden secrets in the subconscious mind, maybe things would have been different.

When you’re ready to start training your subconscious mind, you have two choices available. The fist is to simply close your eyes and picture whatever it is you desire. If you want to spend more time with the kids, then your visualization should be about you laughing and playing with them in yard, during the middle of the week when you would normally be at work. You can make the visualization any way you want as long as it’s a positive outlook.

Once you’ve made progress there, you will want to focus on a more physical approach. Maybe you’re about to have a baby and haven’t been keeping up with the preparation of a new child. So cut out a picture of a room you would like to decorate and place it on the front door of where the room is supposed to be. Make a copy of it and put a picture in your car or at work. These traits have withstood the test of time and are only being recognized more so today. Hopefully we will continue to embrace the positive effects it can have on our lives as a society.

It is a well known fact that most humans use only about 10% of their potential mind power. It’s something staggering to think about; how high must our potential be if we only use this small fraction of our minds! What could you accomplish if you were able to use 100% of your mind?

Scientists have long thought, in fact, that those who have so-called ‘psychic’ or extrasensory powers have them because in fact they can access parts of their minds other people cannot. They have perhaps been born with this ‘extra’ mindpower or they’ve been able to develop this power of the mind in their lives.

Do things like affirming that you’re going meet specific targets in a given month, whether they’re goals for saving money or losing weight ? something that’s definite and measurable, and keep affirming that potential in your mind. Do this often enough and it’ll become a habit, and good things will follow.

As can be seen, everyone has mind power. It’s a matter of belief in what one can do, with their own abilities and positive affirmations. You can use this ability to change your circumstances and rewrite your future to one you want to see happen. It won’t happen over night, and it takes some repetition to make it all work, but the effort pays off in the end.

Mind Power for the Ages

Just in case you didn’t already know, your mind is like a magnet. What it thinks and sees, it will eventually attract. There is this thing that is called the law of attraction, and it deals very strongly with mind power. The law of attraction is basically the act of believing something is going to happen so strongly that it does. You can have the best life if you want it, but you have to be able to think it, feel it, and envision it first. This may take some practice, but success only comes with persistence in any endeavor. The power of the mind is amazing.

The Law of Attraction works even if you don’t believe in it. Whether you choose to use your mind power positively or not is up to you; we only use 10% of our brain’s capacity for conscious thought, the rest is a well of untapped unconscious potential, and you’re using it now whether you admit to it or not ? and people who find fault in everything tend to use it to pull more trouble to them.

Your mind is the filter through which you see the real world; what you perceive and make yourself aware of is what you act upon. If you make your attitude positive, you’ll notice more positive outcomes, and you can use your subconscious mind power to draw more beneficial results to you. All you need to do is think on what you want to achieve and let that guide your actions, so every step you take is towards the furthering of the goal.

So instead of going through life like them, why don’t we teach you the right way to use your mind? It all starts with visualization. If you’ve ever seen the movie ‘Happy Gilmore’ with Adam Sandler, his coach in the movie helps him create a happy place to allow him to make the putt. However, there is a time where he tries to think happy thoughts, but the negative ones take over.

With visualization, all you have to do is to sit down and create images and pictures inside your mind. This can help to bring those images to life in reality, but first it has to start within your subconscious mind. The subconscious mind really knows how to bring images into a real life effect like no other. The images in your mind need to be positive so that only positive can come your way. It is best to try to think about the way that you want your life to be before you attempt to do this.

Another benefit is to write down everything on a piece of paper. You can make it factual; write a story, or anything that will help you reach your goals. If you do write something down, it’s important to make a visualization of everything. Once you learn to do this several times throughout the day, those thoughts will become a reality in the back of your mind.

Affirmations are another technique that you can use to boost your mind power, by giving yourself a positive self image boost. President Obama got into office with the simple affirmation of Yes We Can, and that same attitude can help you accomplish other goals. Do things like affirming that you’re going meet specific targets in a given month, whether they’re goals for saving money or losing weight ? something that’s definite and measurable, and keep affirming that potential in your mind. Do this often enough and it’ll become a habit, and good things will follow.

Developing more mind power can also be done by brainwave entrainment. This is simply brainwave synchronization that involves the use of different frequencies through audio technology. Our brains have the natural ability to do several things. One of them consists of the power to heal itself. This can be turned on even more through this type of advanced audio technology. Other things consist of the ability to enhance memory and bring into effect our already existing psychic powers. Different frequencies can do a whole lot concerning mind power. This is a very advanced type of procedure, but it works wonders.

Some of you may even enjoy things like Hypnosis to get that mind power flowing. A great example of this is when people want to quit smoking. They’ve tried Nicorette, prescription drugs, cold turkey, and everything else under the sun to no avail. So when all else fails, the next step is Hypnosis. It is one of our most powerful tools, and it can either be our best friend or our worse enemy. The subconscious mind ultimately controls the life you live. What exactly is the subconscious mind and why should we pay attention to what it is thinking?

Despite the best efforts of some professionals, we all acknowledge the subconscious mind. It is the mind within the mind. It is the control board that directs our actions and our thoughts. It is the voice in your head that you hear when you are faced with a difficult or challenging situation. The script that our subconscious speaks to us is as unique as each individual in the world. Your subconscious mind is not the same as mine. Even if we were raised in the same house, under the same circumstances with the same parents. Your inner voice is just that, it is yours.

Understanding it all is probably the most difficult portion to training the subconscious mind. You have to be as knowledgeable about this topic and how your mind works before you can put anything into action. The easiest way to explain your subconscious mind power is by telling you it’s that voice you hear without anything being said. It’s kind of like that gut feeling you get when something isn’t right.

If those deep thoughts you have about yourself are negative then chances are better than not that you are not going to have the type of life that you want. The good news is that you can change the way you think about yourself. You can change the way the things that the subconscious mind says to start living the life you really want.

Many people use affirmations to help change the way they think. These are positive statements that you repeat to yourself multiple times through the day. You don’t have to spend a lot of money on subliminal messaging scripts, you can do this yourself at home and it is very effective. Think about what it is you want to change about yourself.

For example, you want to lose weight. Instead of thinking you are fat, repeat to yourself that you are your perfect weight. On a piece of paper you can write down the same phrase and carry it in your pocket, you can tap it to the mirror, make a ring tone out of it, and make it a screensaver at work. The point is to repeat the message enough that the subconscious mind picks up on the fact that this is what you think? and what it needs to be thinking.

The end result will allow you to change your life for the better. Keep in mind that this isn’t something you can change overnight, because you’ve spent years unknowingly training your subconscious mind to believe the negative thoughts. However, when you train properly, the positive thoughts will begin to surface. Here’s an example of one of my students who had to learn the hard way before joining my training sessions.

Here is an example of how your mind impacts your life, without you even realizing it on any given day. Let’s say that you wake up late one day. You say or think, ‘It’s going to be one of those days.’ You take a shower and find you are out of soap; you get dressed and spill coffee down your shirt on the way to the office. Again, you think ‘Yep, it is definitely going to be one of those days.’ You get to work and you are faced with one obstacle after another again, you are thinking that this is one of those days? and you even go as far as to think that it can’t get any worse? and it does.

While it took a day like this for Stacey to figure things out, most people just believe the day didn’t go their way. In fact, most people never stop to think that it could all be because of the negative thoughts they were constantly engraving in their subconscious mind. Then again, it doesn’t have to bee this way if you start training it to channel positive feelings towards all those situations.

There are many stories just like this one that gives astonishing accolades about the subconscious mind. Today, you can even find movies like The Secret that explain this quantum physics phenomenon over a person’s body. In short, our subconscious mind will react with and respond to reality, which eventually causes the actions throughout the day. Basically, our subconscious mind creates our path through life.

Crazy as this seems quantum physics is in agreement with this basic theory and it has been proved that at subatomic level, the existence of matter really is intrinsically linked with the mind of the observer. This is also what the ancient religions have been saying for many thousands of years.

Let’s change that because you obviously want to start living your life a better way. If you didn’t you wouldn’t have read this entire article. The subconscious mind is a fickle subject, but one that has unlimited potential if you use it properly. It doesn’t matter if you need to make more money, budget better, or spend more time with the kids. Why? Well, because you can do all these things by simply training the subconscious mind to think the right way.

You just have to use the necessary tools to make it happen. Maybe it’s as little as making it a screen saver on your computer or putting a posted note on your bathroom mirror. Whatever works for you is fine as long as you take the appropriate steps to make the change.

With this example, you will start to notice that you will become your ideal weight. If you use affirmations to increase money, you will in fact have more money. You can apply this to anything in your life. It is possible. Perhaps you don’t believe me.

‘When I first heard about everything that revolved around the subconscious mind, I just laughed. It was crazy to think that what I wasn’t really thinking was actually happening even though I didn’t remember thinking it. Hopefully that sentence didn’t make any sense because I definitely felt that way in the beginning. The one morning I woke up, fell out of bed, took a shower with no soap, got stuck in traffic and ended up being late, missed a work deadline, burnt dinner, and was so overwhelmed I couldn’t sleep that night. After I went back through the day I realized I had been thinking it was going to be a bad day right from the beginning.’

While it took a day like this for Stacey to figure things out, most people just believe the day didn’t go their way. Then again, it doesn’t have to bee this way if you start training it to channel positive feelings towards all those situations.

In recent years films and books like ‘The Secret’ have explained this phenomenon in more scientific terms. This has become known as the ‘Law of Attraction’. This says that our subconscious mind not only reacts with and responds to the reality we are experiencing it is actually creating it!

Some of you are probably sitting there laughing or thinking this is crazy talk. Don’t worry, someone else is probably doing the same thing, but those who feel this way are usually the ones who need the most help. Seriously, if you feel this way right now your subconscious mind is giving you negative thoughts.

Understanding the subconscious mind and its unlimited potential is only the beginning. If you truly want to change the way you live on this earth, then it starts with changing the way you think. It’s why there are people who are successful and people who fail. It doesn’t matter if you’re trying to lose weight or gain financial freedom, the trick is to visualize the positive side of life and communicate it to your subconscious. If you can do this, you can do anything.
